About the Role

Our client, a boston-based indie rock band is seeking a talented mid-level producer to mix and master their 8-track album. The band's sound blends influences from Nirvana to ABBA, aiming for a straightforward rock sound. This is a remote, single-job opportunity with significant personal importance to the band. The ideal candidate will be able to bring their expertise to elevate the final product while closely following the band's vision.

Responsibilities:

• Mix and master 8 pre-recorded tracks for an indie rock album
• Work remotely to achieve a straightforward rock sound
• Follow detailed notes provided for each song
• Enhance the overall sound quality while maintaining the band's unique style
• Deliver high-quality, radio-ready final tracks

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mid-level music producer, particularly in indie rock or related genres
• Strong skills in mixing and mastering techniques
• Familiarity with a wide range of rock styles, from grunge to pop
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Excellent communication skills to understand and implement the band's vision
