About the Role

A client is seeking a creative music producer to help develop and refine a collection of folk-influenced indie songs into a cohesive album. The project combines elements of contemporary indie folk with intimate storytelling, requiring a producer who can bridge the gap between raw musical ideas and polished professional recordings while maintaining artistic authenticity.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and curate existing song collection for album potential
• Provide A&R guidance on song selection and arrangement
• Develop production concepts that enhance the storytelling aspects of each song
• Arrange and produce selected tracks while preserving their intimate nature

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in indie folk and alternative music production
• Strong portfolio showcasing varied production styles
• Understanding of contemporary indie folk production techniques
• Experience in A&R and song development
• Proficiency with modern recording software and production tools
• Strong arrangement and compositional skills
