About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented mid-level music composer to create an original soundtrack for an animated short film. The project, a unique exploration of pageant culture, requires a dynamic and contemporary musical score that blends various electronic and pop styles. Responsibilities:

• Compose an original soundtrack for a 3+ minute animated short film
• Create music that blends techno, distorted, and pop genres with ambient elements
• Develop a cohesive musical narrative that enhances the film's storyline and visual aesthetics
• Collaborate closely with the filmmaker to ensure the music aligns with their creative vision

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mid-level music composer, preferably with film scoring background
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in electronic and pop music styles
• Proficiency in music production software and techniques for creating polished, professional tracks
• Familiarity with contemporary artists like Charli XCX and Lady Gaga, and ability to create similar stylistic elements
