About the Role
Our client, a startup game development company is seeking a mid-level motion animator for their project. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating Unity-style game animations, including animal movements, weapon interactions, and dynamic backgrounds. This is initially a single job with potential for long-term collaboration. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality motion animations for various game elements
- Ensure all animations align with the Unity game style
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate animations seamlessly into the game
- Optimize animations for smooth performance within the game engine
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mid-level motion animator, preferably in game development
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in Unity-style game animations
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software
- Experience creating animations for animals, weapons, and environmental elements
- Understanding of game development processes and optimisation techniques
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
