About the Role
Our client is looking for a mid-level Mixing Engineer specialising in pop and R&B to mix multiple tracks. This project involves refining songs to a polished, professional sound that aligns with the style of artists such as Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish. The role requires proficiency in mixing for the pop genre, with attention to balancing vocals and instrumentation for a modern, radio-ready sound.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mixing pop and R&B music, with a portfolio or sample tracks showcasing a polished, contemporary sound.
- Ability to work within a 3 to 5-day delivery timeframe, maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or similar.
- Strong understanding of balancing, EQ, compression, and effects to create a professional sound.
- Comfortable working remotely with prompt communication for feedback and revisions.
- Willingness to provide samples that match the desired style for alignment.
