About the Job
Our client, a startup is seeking seeking a mid-level freelance logo designer for a logo design project. This is a single task at the moment, but there is potential for more work to follow. The project involves creating a modern and simple logo that embodies a "less is more" style, reflecting the company's brand essence. The chosen freelancer will work remotely for a few hours, and the project delivery is targeted for next week. The company is open to receiving offers and making a paid hire for this project.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the company's brand identity, values, and vision to conceptualise an appropriate logo design
- Research the industry and competitors to ensure the logo design is unique and stands out
- Develop multiple logo concepts and variations that align with the "less is more" and modern style
- Incorporate the company's name or initials into the logo design creatively and memorably
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in professional logo design and branding
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and design principles
- Ability to conceptualize and execute simple, modern, and minimalist logo designs
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills for remote collaboration
