About the Role
Our client, an organisation focused on sustainable farming practices in the Amazon rainforest is seeking a skilled illustrator to create detailed, technical vector drawings depicting complex ecological processes and farming methods. These illustrations will be used in educational materials distributed to farmers in the Amazon, aiming to guide and promote sustainable agricultural practices. The project requires a keen eye for detail, understanding of environmental concepts, and the ability to communicate complex ideas visually.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed vector illustrations of ecological processes and sustainable farming methods
- Accurately depict complex environmental concepts, such as carbon flow through ecosystems
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure scientific accuracy of illustrations
- Adapt provided style guidelines while maintaining clarity and educational value
Requirements
- Proven experience in creating technical and scientific illustrations, particularly in environmental or agricultural fields
- Strong portfolio showcasing comparable work in vector illustration
- Proficiency in vector graphics software
