About the Role
Our client, an established AI study tool platform with over 250,000 users is seeking a talented illustrator and animator to create engaging visual elements for their website. The project involves designing and animating a growing tree to represent student progress within study sessions, as well as a forest scene that accumulates these trees to showcase overall user achievement. The platform's theme is jungle-inspired, featuring nature and animal references.
Responsibilities:
- Create illustrations for a tree that will grow to represent progress within study sessions
- Design and illustrate a forest scene that will incorporate individual progress trees
- Animate the tree growth process to show real-time progress
- Develop animations for the forest scene to dynamically add new trees
Requirements
- Proven experience in illustration and animation, particularly in digital formats
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of illustration styles, excluding flat and 3D
- Familiarity with nature-themed illustrations and animations
- Ability to create engaging, whimsical designs suitable for an educational platform
