About the Role
Our client, an indie company is seeking an experienced game developer to create the game architecture for a top-down shooter game targeted at the Japanese market. This is a fully remote position for individual developers only. The project involves developing game mechanics similar to titles like Hades, including shops, levels, and run-based gameplay using assets from the Unity store.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the core game architecture for a top-down shooter
- Create run-based mechanics, including shops, levels, and progression systems
- Integrate and optimize Unity store assets into the game
- Develop a robust and scalable codebase
Requirements
- Intermediate or higher level of experience in Unity game development
- Strong proficiency in C# programming
- Experience with top-down shooter game mechanics
- Familiarity with run-based game design
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
