About the Role
Our client, a company specialising in a Tradie Marketplace App is seeking a skilled mid-level to expert developer to join their team on a part-time contract basis. The role involves further development, maintenance, and potential future expansion of the app. This is a fully remote position, but preference will be given to candidates who are passionate about the growth of the app and may assist in forming a development team in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the existing team to understand the app's architecture, codebase, and future development goals.
- Maintain and update the app's codebase, addressing any bugs or issues that arise.
- Implement new features and enhancements based on the product roadmap and user feedback.
- Optimise the app's performance, security, and overall user experience.
Requirements
- Mid-level to expert experience in mobile app development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks
- Familiarity with mobile app development best practices, including performance optimisation, security, and user experience.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
