About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Animator to collaborate on an exciting personal project involving the creation of an anime. The project includes animating a couple of episodes based on a completed storyboard and voice lines, serving as a visual representation of the concept. The desired animation style draws inspiration from popular anime such as "Attack on Titan" and "Vinland Saga," with a focus on simplified representations rather than intricate details.

In this remote role, you will be responsible for bringing the storyboard to life, ensuring smooth animation, compelling visual storytelling, and a creative interpretation of the anime’s tone and style. This position is perfect for a junior animator looking to gain experience working on a unique and artistic project.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in 2D animation, with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
• Familiarity with animation styles inspired by popular anime (e.g., "Attack on Titan" and "Vinland Saga").
• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools.
• Ability to work with storyboards and voice lines to create cohesive animated sequences.
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to the desired tone and style of the project.
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness for remote collaboration.
• Availability for a longer-term project requiring more than a week to complete.
• Open to junior-level animators with rates between $25-35 per hour.
