About the Role
Our client is seeking an expert-level animator for a project involving the creation of short (under 10 seconds) animations of creatures for a game. The project aims to develop unique and fun collectibles and entertainment. While initially a single job, there is potential for follow-up work based on the quality of the output. The project timeline is flexible to ensure a stress-free process and maintain high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and high-quality animations of creatures, each under 10 seconds in length.
- Translate the client's vision into compelling and unique animated characters.
- Ensure that the animations are suitable for use in a game environment, particularly as collectibles.
- Provide regular updates and incorporate feedback from the client throughout the animation process.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience in character animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and techniques.
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software.
- Understanding of game design principles and experience animating for games is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining clear communication with the client.
