About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented animator to create a 30-minute animated short film. The project draws inspiration from visual styles similar to "Attack on Titan" and "Inside Out." This is a project with the potential for long-term collaboration on future endeavours. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to create high-quality animation in various styles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and animate characters, environments, and special effects for a 30-minute short film
- Collaborate closely with the filmmaker to bring their vision to life
- Create storyboards and animatics to plan out scenes and sequences
- Implement feedback and revisions throughout the production process
Requirements
- Proven experience in creating high-quality 2D or 3D animation
- Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and movement
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software
- Ability to adapt to different animation styles, particularly those similar to "Attack on Titan" and "Inside Out"
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely
