About the Role
An independent game developer is seeking a skilled 2D animator to contribute to their upcoming video game project. The project requires creating character animations in a 2D anime style using Inkscape. This is a personal project currently in the planning and research phase, with potential for extended collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Create 2D character animations in an anime style for the game
- Use Inkscape to design and animate game characters
- Collaborate with the game developer to understand and implement the desired art style and animation requirements
- Develop smooth, fluid animations that enhance gameplay and character personality
Requirements
- Proven experience in 2D animation, particularly in anime style
- Proficiency in using Inkscape for animation
- Strong understanding of animation principles and techniques
