About the Role

Our client, a company specialising in bitcoin native IP is seeking a talented mid-level 2D animator for a long-term project. The primary focus is on designing and rigging full-body versions of existing cartoon profile pictures, and creating engaging GIFs featuring these characters. This remote position requires creativity, technical skill, and the ability to produce consistent, high-quality animations on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Design full-body versions of existing cartoon characters, adding arms and legs
• Rig characters for animation, ensuring smooth movement and flexibility
• Create engaging and creative GIFs featuring the full-body characters
• Produce approximately two GIFs per week
• Ensure consistency in style and quality across all animations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 2D animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing character animation and GIF creation
• Mid-level proficiency in 2D animation software
• Excellent character design and rigging skills
• Strong understanding of animation principles, especially for creating looping GIFs
