About the Role
Our client, a music company is looking for an expert 2D animator to create a 3-minute and 4-second music video. The client envisions a style synonymous with anime/cartoons, and a provided example reflects their preferred aesthetic. This is a singular job, meant to be completed within the span of a week, and can be done solely remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Study and understand the client's vision, reference materials, and desired style for the music video animation.
- Conceptualise and create engaging 2D animations that bring the music video to life in an anime/cartoon style.
- Ensure the animations are fluid, well-timed, and synchronized with the accompanying music.
- Incorporate necessary visual elements, such as characters, backgrounds, and effects, to enhance the overall aesthetic.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in 2D animation, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in the anime/cartoon style or similar aesthetics.
- Proficiency in industry-standard 2D animation softwares
- Excellent understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and character performance.
- Ability to create fluid and visually appealing animations that effectively convey the desired mood and tone.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
