About the Role
A dynamic animation studio known for creating high-quality animated content across various styles is seeking a talented mid-level 2D animator. Our studio specialises in both traditional hand-drawn animation and modern digital techniques, producing content for entertainment, advertising, and digital media platforms. We're looking to expand our creative team to handle our growing portfolio of exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create fluid and engaging 2D animations using both frame-by-frame and rig-based techniques
- Develop and maintain consistent animation style guides for different projects
- Collaborate with art directors and fellow animators to achieve desired visual outcomes
- Participate in team reviews and provide constructive feedback on animated sequences
Requirements
- Strong understanding of animation principles and timing
- Proficiency in frame-by-frame animation techniques
- Experience with digital animation tools (e.g., Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, TV Paint)
- Demonstrated ability to work in various animation styles, particularly manga/anime-inspired animation
- Knowledge of rig-based animation systems and character setup
