About the Role

Our client, a company specialising in outdoor wood products is seeking to hire a talented freelance animator with mid-level experience in 3D and 2D animation. The project involves creating short animation videos to showcase the company's range of products, including trims, boards, deck tiles, clips, and more. This is an ongoing project, but the initial commitment is expected to span the better part of a week. The animator will work remotely and should be comfortable with this arrangement. The animator's location is not a concern as the job is entirely remote.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the company's products and the specific requirements for the animation videos.
• Conceptualise and develop creative ideas for visually appealing and engaging product animations.
• Create 3D models and animations for the company's products, ensuring accurate representations and realistic movements.
• Incorporate 2D elements, such as graphics, text, and visual effects, to enhance the overall presentation of the products.

Requirements

• Proven mid-level experience in 3D and 2D animation, with a strong portfolio showcasing product animation videos or similar projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, Adobe After Effects, or similar tools.
• Excellent skills in 3D modeling, rigging, animation, texturing, and rendering techniques.
• Knowledge of 2D animation principles and motion graphics creation.
