Full Job Description
Walnut Way Conservation Corp. is seeking an organized and detail-oriented File Clerk to join our administrative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our documentation and records, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
The File Clerk will be responsible for organizing, filing, and retrieving documents in both electronic and physical formats. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, all while providing support to various departments within our organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize both digital and paper records in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Review files for accuracy and completeness, making necessary updates and corrections.
- Assist staff in locating and retrieving documents and information as needed.
- Prepare, scan, and upload documents into electronic filing systems.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information while processing files.
- Assist in the creation of new filing systems and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Participate in inventory management of files and assist with regular audits of documentation.
- Support administrative tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements
- Previous experience in file management or administrative support is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in scanning and using electronic filing systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work harmoniously with team members.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office management or a related field is a plus.
