As the Manager of Field Operations (EDU) you are responsible for the training, territory growth plans and business development in the Field Division. You lead a team of 5-10 Partnership Engagement Administrators (PEA) tasked with recruiting students in degree/professional development programs and servicing partnership accounts. Daily oversight of the team includes tracking and reporting of certain key metrics including partnership exposures, lead acquisitions, new business development, partnership growth and student generation. Additionally, you could be responsible for assisting in the growth and maintenance of a primary territory.

Compensation

ACE is committed to paying a competitive wage while staying true to our mission of maintaining high-quality affordable programs for our students. The starting salary range for this position is $90,000 plus all full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus. Offers vary depending on education prior experience and expertise being applied to the role.

Day to Day Responsibilities

In this role you will wear different hats but your skills will be especially essential in the following areas:

  • Conducts ongoing group and one-on-one training as needed to ensure team develops the critical skills to perform their jobs, including an ever deeper understanding of advising.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and provide training as needed.
  • Analyzes and acts upon the Field team’s overall performance in field activities, effectiveness, efficiency, and professional development of the staff.
  • Attends national, regional or state conference as needed to represent the college.
  • Analyze territory trends on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to optimize employee performance and provides supportive coaching.
  • Responsible for meeting team expectations for leads, students, and exposures in PEA team’s territories.
  • Participates in the recruiting and interviewing of Partnership Engagement Administrators using approved methods and models.
  • Identifies high value targets within managed region and executes a partnership strategy to grow accounts for event, lead and student generation.
  • Acts with integrity and honesty in performing all tasks, including but not limited to, maintaining confidentiality, acting in a diplomatic and respectful/professional manner and being a good ambassador for the college at all times.
  • Conducts meetings and provides guidance to employees in the GPS goal process, reviews and coaching plans when applicable.
  • Serves as a leader and coach to direct reports, as well as mentor to others within the department.
  • Provides support and management of any Partnership Engagement Administrators territories that are open from staffing transitions.
  • Partners with the Training and Development team to ensure the team is compliant and trained in all regards to all school/company policies and procedures, all applicable federal and state regulations, and all accrediting agencies’ standards and requirements.
  • Adheres to all compliance rules and regulations is critical, as is working toward the best interests of the college and the student.
  • Works cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in enrollment processes especially with Admissions, Registration and Marketing teams.
  • Responsible for upkeep and continued development of team morale.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in management, leadership, higher ed or training is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience managing a large geographic territory of outside development professionals (preferably in higher education).
  • Proven ability to lead projects and/or personnel to successful outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of K-12 structures, schedules and penetration points.
  • Demonstrated effective PC skills, especially MS Excel, CRM, Planner, PowerPoint and Zoom and Anthology.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with leading as a change agent.
  • Process improvement mentality with a history of executing strategic initiatives successfully.
  • Travel as needed, up to 50% of the time.
