Estimator

Agricon is an agricultural company seeking a candidate who can accurately estimate project costs and generate offers to prospective customers based on information received from sales team and knowledge of standard industry practices. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review drawings and specs and discuss project requirements with all involved parties.
• Liaise with Sales and Project Management teams to ensure all job requirements are met.
• Generate offers which detail our scope of work and account for all costs associated with our scope of work 
• Monitors job status, identify any problems, and adjust estimates accordingly.
• Maintain internal records, tracks material costs, and ensures deadlines are met.
• Track building cost per square foot to show trends.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and changes.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Experience drafting, interpreting, revising or otherwise working with contracts.
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, and very strong math skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Precise oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Window’s applications (Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Microsoft Excel experience including building formulas, importing/exporting data, and developing macros.
• Experience with CRM and ERP programs

Some travel will be required.
