Requirements

  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted, and mutually beneficial relationships with Microsoft Account Executives, field sales teams, and the broader Microsoft community. Your understanding of how Microsoft operates and sells, combined with your established relationships, will be pivotal to driving business growth and closing deals. Experience in FSI, Healthcare, and Life Sciences will be particularly beneficial.
  • Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements, business challenges, and vision. You will discuss our capabilities and provide thoughtful, strategic advice that aligns with their needs.
  • Strategize with prospects and clients to develop solutions that consider functionality, scalability, future-proofing, and cost, while clearly articulating how Formula5 can add value.
  • Act as a trusted technology advisor to clients, guiding them through the decision-making process and helping them visualize the impact of technology solutions on their business.
  • Drive deals to completion by leveraging your established relationships and trust within the industry, ensuring a seamless transition from advisory to implementation.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to qualify opportunities, craft winning strategies, and close deals without making the process feel "salesy" or transactional.
  • Create and present well-crafted proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and solution architectures that align with client requirements and ensure a smooth implementation process.
  • Serve as an Engagement Lead, ensuring the successful transition from the advisory phase to implementation, while maintaining client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Take on a leadership role within Formula5, where you will have the autonomy to make decisions, contribute to the company’s strategic direction, and help drive its growth and success.
  • Engage in diverse and challenging projects, leveraging your expertise to deliver innovative and impactful solutions for clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role that blends technical expertise with business development, ideally within a professional services company.
  • Prior experience working in a similar role with a top-tier Microsoft partner firm.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft’s sales and operational processes, with established relationships with Microsoft specialists and sellers.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive deals from inception to close, leveraging established relationships and industry trust.
  • Experience and relationships within the Financial Services Industry (FSI), Healthcare, and Life Sciences sectors are highly desirable.
  • Desire to move beyond a traditional employee role into a leadership position with autonomy and responsibility.
  • Ability to discuss technical concepts with clients in a way that is accessible and aligned with their business goals.
  • Experience writing and presenting technical documents such as Statements of Work (SOWs) and solution proposals.
  • Background in application and system architecture design using design patterns like Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and multi-tenancy.
  • Experience with large-scale application development and architecture, particularly in environments utilizing microservices, Kubernetes, integration hubs, API integration, PaaS services, IoT, and event-driven architecture.
  • Proficiency in data platform architecture including Synapse, Databricks, and Fabric, with knowledge of Azure AI and OpenAI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear, effective client interactions.
