Enterprise Architecture Director, Software

As the Enterprise Architecture Director, Software, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our software architecture and driving the strategic direction of our technology initiatives. We seek a visionary leader with expertise in software architecture, a natural curiosity, and a creative mindset. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and overseeing the enterprise architecture to ensure our software solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with our business objectives. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare technology professionals to develop innovative solutions and new visions for the future. 

Responsibilities:  

• Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to understand and address their software architecture needs. 
• Research and develop innovative software architecture models and frameworks. 
• Communicate architectural strategies and findings effectively to all stakeholders. 
• Enable smarter business processes by implementing software solutions that deliver meaningful insights. 
• Stay current with the latest technical and industry developments. 
• Serve as the lead software strategist, identifying and integrating new technologies and methodologies to enhance our product capabilities. 
• Work closely with the engineering team to strategize and execute the development of software products. 
• Conduct architectural reviews and experiments methodically to solve various problems and create significant impacts across different domains and industries. 
• Identify and incorporate relevant software tools, frameworks, and platforms for client business needs. 
• Develop and utilize best practices and standards for software architecture, ensuring uniformity and accuracy. 
• Analyze software systems for trends and patterns, interpreting data with a clear objective in mind. 
• Collaborate with software developers and engineers to implement architectural models into production. 
• Communicate architectural solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational systems. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred). 
• 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on the healthcare technology field. 
• 2+ years of project management experience. 
• Proficiency in software design, development, and architectural frameworks. 
• Advanced experience in designing scalable and reliable software systems. 
• Experience with tools such as UML, TOGAF, ArchiMate, and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#). 
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with multiple ongoing concurrent projects.

The salary for a position is typically determined by multiple factors such as the individual's qualifications, experience, skills, and location. The projected compensation range for the position may vary based on these factors and could range from $170,000 to $185,000 (annualized USD). However, this estimate represents just one aspect of our total compensation package offered.
