As an Enrollment Counselor, you are responsible for recruiting qualified candidates into American College of Education’s Masters, Doctoral, Certificate and Professional Development programs. You are responsible for counseling prospective students through the full life cycle of the enrollment process. This entails initial relationship development, exploration of needs and personalized solution offerings, navigating the decision-making and application process, in addition to effectively preparing students for long-term success.

As an Enrollment Counselor, you are responsible for recruiting qualified candidates into American College of Education’s Masters, Doctoral, Certificate and Professional Development programs. You are responsible for counseling prospective students through the full life cycle of the enrollment process. This entails initial relationship development, exploration of needs and personalized solution offerings, navigating the decision-making and application process, in addition to effectively preparing students for long-term success.
Compensation
ACE is committed to paying a competitive wage while staying true to our mission of maintaining high-quality, affordable programs for our students. The starting hourly rate is $24.00, plus all full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus. Offers vary depending on education, prior experience, and expertise being applied to the role.

Day to Day Responsibilities
In this role you will wear different hats, but your skills will be especially essential in the following areas:
•Conducts prospective student interviews: Matches College benefits to students’ needs by providing accurate information related to all college and program specific information.
•Uncovers prospective student motivations and concerns, as well as overcomes objections through problem solving using a consultative approach.
•Maintains consistent contact with prospective students and provides the highest level of customer service.
•Effectively uses technology and established business processes; responsible for documenting all student interactions into CRM.
•Adheres to all school/company policies and procedures as well as federal, state and compliance regulations.
•Demonstrates positive attitude and motivation, concern for students, teamwork, and excellent time management skills.
•May work special projects like; prospective student qualification outreach and follow-up or support retention and outreach efforts post Enrollment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
•3-5 years of enrollment experience.
•Excellent presentation skills both verbal and written.
•Ability to develop professional rapport with prospective students.
•Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines: displays high level of accuracy.
•Knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook;
•Knowledge of Campus Management products, strongly preferred.
