We’re on a mission to make the switch to sustainable transport and energy faster, easier and more affordable. We use our own technology stack, data smarts and industry knowledge to build a game-changing capability. Our intelligent energy platform helps our customers access renewable energy, understand consumer behavior, and powers smart charging for EVs.
Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid-2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries across the UK/I and EMEA, and have partnerships with the likes of Octopus Energy, Volvo Benelux, VW UK, Mercedes UK, Hyundai UK and other innovative brands.
Our recent success has led to the need for additional Engineering talent in the US as we continue to scale globally.
We are looking to speak with an experienced Engineering Manager – EV Charging with expertise in EV Charger development; L2 or DC Fast Chargers specifically.
Location: California, New York, Texas or remote US.
Requirements
What we need from you:
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- At least 8 years’ experience in engineering
- Proven track record of managing the engineering aspect of EV projects from developments through to operations
- Strong understanding of electrical system components, design and compliance requirements
- Experience with OCPP & OCPI Protocols
- Familiarity with regulatory, permitting and compliance requirements for L2 EV installations
