Position Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Email & SMS Associate to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about beauty, highly creative, and possess a strong understanding of email and SMS marketing best practices. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop engaging content, optimize campaigns for maximum impact, and drive meaningful results. 

Requirements

• Develop and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns to promote products, drive sales, and increase brand awareness. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content and ensure brand consistency across all communications. 

• Segment email and SMS lists based on customer behavior, demographics, and preferences to deliver targeted messaging. 

• Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and optimize strategies to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. 

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously innovate and enhance our email and SMS marketing efforts. 

• Implement A/B testing methodologies to optimize subject lines, messaging, and timing for maximum engagement. 

• Manage email and SMS marketing calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and promotions. 

• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR and CAN-SPAM, and uphold industry best practices for data privacy and security. 

• All other relevant activities that support ecommerce sales growth as required. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field. 

• 2-4 years of experience in email and SMS marketing, preferably in the beauty or retail industry. 

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful email and SMS campaigns that drive business results. 

• Strong understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and SMS marketing tools (e.g., Twilio, EZ Texting). 

• Proficiency in email marketing metrics and analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity. 

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

• Experience with HTML/CSS and email template design is a plus.

The salary for this position is $50,000 to $60,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
