Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven ECommerce Merchandiser & Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty, a keen eye for merchandising trends, and a strong analytical mindset. This role requires a strategic thinker who can optimize our online store to maximize sales, enhance the customer experience, and drive business growth. 

Requirements

Responsibilities: 

Lead the merchandising strategy for our ECommerce platform, including product assortment, pricing, and promotions, to drive sales and meet business objectives. 

Analyze sales data, website metrics, and customer behavior to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 

Develop and implement merchandising plans and product launches to align with marketing campaigns, seasonal trends, and customer preferences. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and inventory management, to ensure seamless execution of merchandising initiatives. 

Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in ECommerce merchandising. 

Optimize product listings, product categorization, and search functionality to enhance the online shopping experience and increase conversion rates. 

Monitor inventory levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete products, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. 

Utilize A/B testing and other analytical methods to measure the effectiveness of merchandising strategies and recommend adjustments as needed. 

Stay up-to-date on emerging ECommerce technologies and platforms to drive continuous improvement and innovation. 

All other relevant activities that support ecommerce sales growth as required. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field. 

4-6 years of experience in ECommerce merchandising, preferably in the beauty or retail industry. 

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and ECommerce analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). 

Demonstrated success in driving sales and optimizing merchandising strategies to achieve business objectives. 

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders. 

Creative thinker with a passion for beauty and a deep understanding of customer behavior and preferences. 

Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Experience with ECommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and content management systems is a plus.

The salary for this position is $60,000 to $70,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
