At NDSR, we focus on building political power for disabled people in the South through advocacy, organizing, and strategic political engagement. Our mission is to amplify the voices of disabled people and ensure their representation in political and social change efforts across the region. We do this by:

  • Engaging in advocacy campaigns that influence public policy and electoral outcomes
  • Mobilizing communities for civic engagement and voter participation
  • Building partnerships across progressive movements to advance disability justice and rights
  • Shaping political narratives to ensure the inclusion of disabled people in all aspects of public life

Our work is rooted in the principles of disability justice, centering the leadership of disabled people of color, queer folks, and those most impacted by systemic oppression.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in major donor cultivation and 501(c)(4) fundraising, who understands the unique challenges and opportunities of political fundraising. • Track and be able to define and articulate impact of C4 fundraising initiatives in EOY impact report, at Board meetings, and in other places as needed
