The Document Triage Specialist is responsible for efficiently and accurately monitoring all incoming patient orders
to ensure they contain all required documents and that those documents contain complete information necessary
to process the order. This role works collaboratively with the Field Sales team to pursue missing or incomplete
information and ensures responses are provided in a timely manner. Additionally, this role monitors all documents
received to ensure they are routed to the appropriate department for proper handling (ex. Renewals, Prior
Authorization, etc.).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Closely monitors and takes decisive action on all inbound patient orders into the organization’s fax queue.
- Ensures that all orders have the required documents and that these documents are completed in a manner that allows the Order Processing team to expedite order entry and verify insurance.
- Addresses incomplete orders by tracking the outstanding information and working collaboratively with the Field Sales team to complete the order-process.
- Achieves desired metrics and outcomes through effective and efficient day-to-day work activities.
- Documents trends and then provides this information to leadership to improve operational outcomes.
- Routes documents to the appropriate departments for timely and accurate processing and handling.

- Information regarding a patient of this company shall not be released to any source outside of this company without the signed permission of the patient. Furthermore, information will only be released internally on a need-to-know basis. All Team Members will not discuss patient cases outside the office or with anyone not employed by this company unless they are directly involved with the patient’s case.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience Required:
- High school diploma
- 2-5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on order intake
- Able to work effectively in a remote environment
- Proven record of achieving aggressive metrics and outcomes
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, inclusive of Microsoft Teams
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in a revenue cycle management capacity

- Must maintain steady, consistent internet access
- Extended/overtime hours when needed

Salary: Annualized between $55,000 and $62,000. Depending on experience and location.
