Full Job Description
We’re searching for a passionate and experienced Director of Product Management, MSAT to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will lead and mentor Product Managers and Product Owners. In this role, you’ll focus on driving our product delivery strategy for real-time data integration, tech transfer, and analytics. You will work closely with leadership to optimize and scale our product management practices. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing, Services, and Engineering colleagues will be essential to align product roadmaps with business objectives. As the company continues to grow, you’ll inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes through innovation and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own the product roadmap, balancing strategic priorities with new market-driven ideas.
- Collaborate with the Growth Product Manager to incorporate competitive analysis and market trends, ensuring the roadmap stays customer-focused and relevant.
Team Leadership
- Lead a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, translating strategic objectives into actionable plans.
- Set clear goals, offer mentorship, and support professional growth to drive high performance across the team.
Idea Intake & Collaboration
- Co-manage the structured idea intake process with the Growth Product Manager, ensuring all potential features and enhancements are thoroughly evaluated.
- Leverage market research, customer feedback, and competitive insights to adjust the product strategy as needed.
Customer Engagement & Market Trends
- Continuously engage with customers to refine product features and maintain a competitive edge.
- Lead ongoing market and competitive analysis to ensure ValGenesis stays ahead in Process automation, and Continuous process verification
Delivery Oversight
- Partner with the Product Manager to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.
- Maintain strategic oversight of key initiatives to meet growth targets and align product delivery with business objectives.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Collaboration
- Work closely with the Growth Product Manager to support the go-to-market strategy by ensuring the product is ready for market.
- Ensure on-time product delivery aligned with GTM timelines, allowing Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support teams to properly prepare for launch.
- Facilitate internal team readiness for GTM by coordinating with Engineering, Product, and Support teams to ensure documentation, training, and post-launch support are in place.
- Address any product quality or readiness issues that could impact the success of the launch, ensuring seamless handoff to customer-facing teams.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading product strategy and managing product teams.
- 12+ years in biopharma or pharma manufacturing, with experience in IIoT systems, Statistical Process Control, process automation, continuous process validation (CPV), AI/ML, predictive analysis and Knowledge management system
- Expertise in AI-driven analytics and machine learning models for real-time control and optimization, particularly in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Strong experience guiding Product Managers and Product Owners through strategic decision-making while ensuring alignment with company goals and supporting individual growth.
- Ability to collaborate with Engineering, Product, UX, and Customer teams, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution.
We’d Love It If You Also Had…
- Experience with life sciences software and an understanding of GxP requirements.
- Knowledge of ProductOps practices to scale product management.
- Scrum certifications (CSM, CSPO) or Pragmatic Marketing certifications.
- Experience with Miro, Confluence, Jira, Monday.com (or similar tools)
