The Role:
As the Director of Growth and Retention Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth through strategic demand generation and lifecycle marketing initiatives. You will lead a talented team responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers through data-driven campaigns and optimized CRM strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth marketing strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of cross-functional performance and lifecycle marketers and agencies to achieve revenue targets and customer acquisition goals.
- Demand Generation:
- Oversee demand generation activities including SEO/SEM, PPC campaigns, content marketing, email marketing, and paid social.
- Continuously optimize campaigns to increase lead generation and conversion rates.
- Lifecycle Marketing:
- Design and implement lifecycle marketing programs to enhance customer retention, drive expansion revenue, and increase customer lifetime value (CLTV).
- Utilize marketing automation and CRM tools to deliver personalized customer journeys and optimize user experiences.
- Analytics and Optimization:
- Leverage analytics and data-driven insights to measure campaign effectiveness, identify growth opportunities, and optimize marketing performance.
- Implement A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
- Team Development:
- Build and mentor a high-performing growth and retention marketing team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Champion a customer-centric approach across all marketing initiatives.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the growth marketing budget effectively, allocate resources efficiently, and report on ROI.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize budget allocation and maximize marketing impact.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in growth marketing, demand generation, and CRM, ideally within the SaaS industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing marketing teams. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of marketing analytics, KPIs, and performance metrics. Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce) to drive insights and decision-making.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with business objectives. Experience with scaling marketing programs and driving measurable results.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems. Experience with data-driven marketing strategies and tools.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Able to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

The base pay range for this position is $180,000 - 220,000. The base salary range is applicable across the United States and the offered rate may vary based on factors such as experience, education, market conditions, and location.
