The Role
As the Director of Digital Marketing, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our consumer experience and paid media strategies across the entire digital landscape. Your leadership will be critical in driving performance marketing execution at retail, aligning digital efforts with overall business goals, and optimizing strategies for incremental growth. You will help build and lead our consumer experience, retail media, and digital advertising teams, while partnering closely with ecommerce account teams and establishing thought leadership through retailer media networks and digital advertising platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive consumer experience and paid media strategy across the digital landscape, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Drive the integration of digital marketing efforts into overall ecommerce strategies, focusing on growth and incremental consumption.
- Lead the creation and execution of innovative digital marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience and deliver measurable results.
Team Management:
- Oversee and guide the consumer experience, retail media, and digital advertising teams to deliver best-in-class performance marketing execution.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the team, supporting professional growth and alignment with company values.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to digital marketing initiatives.
Collaboration & Optimization:
- Work closely with ecommerce account teams to refine and optimize strategies aimed at driving online growth and enhancing the consumer experience.
- Leverage data and insights to continually refine digital marketing strategies, ensuring they remain effective and aligned with business goals.
- Partner with other departments to ensure seamless execution and optimization of digital marketing initiatives across all touchpoints.
Retailer Media & Digital Advertising Partnerships:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with digital advertising platforms and retailer media networks, driving strategic collaboration and thought leadership.
- Lead joint business planning with key media partners, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Represent the company as a strategic partner in media network and advertising engagements, driving value for both the company and its partners.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Develop and implement robust KPI tracking and reporting frameworks to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
- Regularly review performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all digital marketing initiatives are data-driven and aligned with overall business objectives.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong background in performance marketing, digital advertising, and retail media.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement.
- Experience managing teams and driving performance in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with deep expertise in digital marketing, including retail media networks and digital advertising platforms.
- Data-driven mindset with strong proficiency in KPI tracking and performance analysis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
