Summary of Position:

Reporting to the CTO, this role will manage DevOps and cloud infrastructure for Digital Marketing and Analytics Applications, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure deployment architectures. Key responsibilities include implementing CI/CD pipelines, disaster recovery plans, and proactive performance monitoring. The position involves leading the development and deployment of marketing tracking standards and engagement applications, integrating enterprise applications, and modernizing legacy systems.

Innovation is central, with a focus on incorporating GenAI and AI technologies into the platform. The role also includes team management, both onshore and offshore, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring effective delivery. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills are essential, along with technical expertise in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, microservices, and AI frameworks. Candidates should have extensive hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure, including leadership roles.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage DevOps and cloud infrastructure for Digital Marketing and Analytics Applications
• Ensure a robust, scalable, secure, and cost-effective deployment architecture
• Implement CI/CD pipeline and automation tools and ensure smooth deployments
• Develop and periodically exercise disaster recovery & business continuity plans
• Setup pro-active application uptime and performance monitoring tools
• Plan, size, architect DevOps deployments to bring additional applications online
• Plan application deprecation and offboard them from the cloud infrastructure
• Research & experiment with new technologies to ensure state-of-art deployments
• Maintain close connections with cloud and tech providers and create leverage
• Maintain working knowledge of the major cloud providers so we are cloud agnostic
• Manage Tracking, Engagement Applications, Data, and Integrations
• Lead the development of marketing tracking standards and deployment
• Lead the tracking, configuration, deployment standards, and integrations of engagement applications (e.g. Calls, Forms, Chats, Schedulers, etc.)
• Ensure that the tracking efforts results in differentiating Analytics in our SaaS apps
• Lead tracking & engagement enhancements based upon evolving trends
• Research & experiment with tracking & engagement innovation technologies
• Research, specify, and lead development of integrations between enterprise applications, third-party data providers, and our platform
• Develop and maintain strategic and key partnerships
• Manage Application Modernization, Deployments, and Sunsets
• Deploy new applications inducted into our platform on our cloud infrastructure
• Analyze these applications and contribute to modernizing where applicable
• Contribute to integration of these apps into our platform to create cohesive suites
• Architect migration of key functionality from legacy applications into platform
• Plan and execute sunset of legacy applications from our infrastructure. Innovate to Infuse GenAI and AI into our Suite of Applications
• Keep up with emerging trends in AI, GenAI, and related technologies
• Maintain a flow of research & POCs to validate these technologies
• Design & develop and AI Architecture to create high performing AI applications
• Materialize AI components and applications to infuse into our platform
• Manage deployment of AI in our infrastructure
• Evangelize AI / GenAI related trends and developments within the company
• Develop AI related policies for safe, responsible, compliant, and ethical AI
• Develop and maintain strategic AI partnerships. Team Management
• Manage onshore team members allocated to each of the areas of responsibility
• Mentor and help direct reports to grow professionally in their careers
• Maintain a positive, fun, productive, & effective work-culture aligned with company
• Manage offshore technical teams and their effective delivery
• Demonstrate strong leadership, decision making, and lead by example
• Motivate and inspire the teams, creating a one-team culture with on and offshore
• Contribute to solution strategy, thinking big-picture, value, and differentiation
• Develop & execute strategic plans for areas of responsibility with transparency
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.

Requirements

• 10+ years in DevOps, software development, and cloud infrastructure
• 5+ years in leadership and team management
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud application deployment, development, and infrastructure management
• Industry/technical certifications are advantageous.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in PM tools (e.g., JIRA) and Agile methodologies
• Budget management and stakeholder communication
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Effective collaboration with onshore and offshore teams
• Expertise in microservices architecture, SaaS software development, CI/CD pipeline management, and code repository management
• Familiarity with AI development frameworks and tools
• Innovative mindset with a curiosity for emerging technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines
