Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Digital PR Manager to join our team. This role is critical in enhancing our brand visibility and securing media coverage for our various sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PR and communications, with excellent skills in email communication and outreach.

Responsibilities:

PR & Communications (70%)

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and credibility.

• Identify and pursue PR opportunities to promote our sites across various platforms, including WSJ, Forbes, TechCrunch, wellness, and mental health publications, as well as local media.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, online influencers, and other key media contacts.

• Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.

• Develop content and contribute to content ideation to support PR initiatives.

• Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing insights and recommendations to improve PR strategies.

Email/Outreach Campaigns (30%)

• Develop and manage targeted email and outreach campaigns to promote our sites and secure media coverage.

• Represent one of our sites on phone calls and through direct communication, effectively conveying our mission and objectives.

• Collaborate with the outreach team to identify and pursue new opportunities for media coverage.

• Utilize excellent email communication skills to engage with media contacts and influencers.

• Track and report on the success of outreach campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in PR and communications, preferably with established relationships with media, journalists, and editors.

• Strong background in developing and executing email and outreach campaigns.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on email communication.

• Ability to identify and secure PR opportunities across various platforms.

• Experience in content development and ideation.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for mental health and wellness is a plus.

Main Initial Objective:

Secure media coverage for our sites in top-tier publications such as WSJ, Forbes, TechCrunch, wellness and mental health publications, and local media.
