Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and a proven track record of success in driving online traffic and conversions for ecommerce businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to: search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute integrated digital marketing campaigns across all relevant channels - as defined by the strategy, including SEO, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, social media, email, and content marketing.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify target audiences and optimize online visibility.
- Manage and optimize paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, social media ads) to maximize ROI.
- Implement SEO strategies, including on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
- Create engaging and high-quality content (blog posts, articles, social media updates) to attract and retain website visitors.
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns, identifying key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, development, design, leadership) to achieve marketing goals.
- Develop and implement email marketing campaigns, including segmentation and personalization.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field and/or 2-7 years of experience in ecommerce and lead generation digital marketing.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.), and other paid advertising channels.
- Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
- Experience with Google Merchant Center and product listings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Google Suite and project management tools.
- Experience with common ecommerce platforms (WooCommerce Shopify, ASPDotNet Storefront, Bigcommerce, etc.).
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact and HubSpot.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development skills.
