About Void

Founded by GitHub founder Chris Wanstrath and seasoned indie game developer Neil Sarkar, Void is a new way to make games.  We believe that game creation should be more fun and rewarding for everyone. Our focus is on building a platform that puts the developer experience first, making it easier, faster, and more enjoyable to create.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to create engaging prototypes for our platform.
• Translate concepts and ideas into functional design prototypes.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine prototypes.
• Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure prototypes are technically feasible.
• Create high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate user experiences.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new features.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to inspire innovative design solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in prototype design or a similar role in the game development industry.

• Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Experience with user testing methodologies and gathering actionable feedback.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects.

Pay Ranges from $50-$100 hourly with the opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance.  Please ask us questions if you have concerns or questions.
