Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Vice President of Engineering to lead our dynamic engineering team. The VP of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our engineering efforts, ensuring that our technology solutions meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and innovation. This role will play a critical part in driving the company's technical strategy forward and achieving our long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the company's engineering strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes, technologies, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to set and achieve ambitious technical goals.

- Team Management and Development:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability.
• Recruit, retain, and develop top engineering talent, ensuring the team has the skills and resources needed to succeed.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the engineering organization.

- Product Development and Delivery:

• Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of solutions.
• Drive product innovation and feature enhancements, leveraging market insights and customer feedback.
• Champion best practices in software engineering, quality assurance, and agile methodologies.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Act as a technical advisor to other departments, providing insights and guidance on technical matters.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leadership in engineering roles, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position.
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic business decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience in the finance industry is a plus.
