Database Administrator
Location: Remote Work
Required: US Citizen OR GC
Node is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our cloud migration initiative focused on modernizing applications across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless migration, optimization, and management of databases as part of our modernization strategy.
Requirements
Required Skill Set / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong knowledge of database management, optimization, and administration in cloud environments.
- Experience with cloud-native database solutions and services.
- Familiarity with migration tools and techniques for cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Highly Desired Additional Skills:
- Certifications in AWS, GCP, or Azure database management.
- Experience in a multi-cloud environment.
- Understanding of application modernization practices and principles.
