Position Overview

The Mid-Level Operations Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing DevOps workflows, Agile project management, compliance readiness (such as SOC 2), and coordinating the integration of the AI technology with clients' infrastructure. This multifaceted role is vital to ensuring our solutions are reliable, secure, and effectively aligned with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps 

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (currently AWS) with a focus on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime and reliability.

Scrum Master 

• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Track team progress, remove obstacles, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and deliverables.
• Champion Agile best practices and guide teams in continuous improvement initiatives.

Compliance & Security

• Lead efforts in SOC 2 preparation, including documentation, control implementation, and audits.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement policies to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with third-party auditors and vendors to achieve and maintain compliance certifications.

Client Integration Coordination

• Act as the primary technical liaison for client technology integration projects.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, assess infrastructure compatibility, and design integration workflows.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams to deliver customized integrations on time and within scope.
• Provide post-integration support to ensure the smooth operation of client deployments.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

Required Skills:

• DevOps: Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Agile Leadership: Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator, leading cross-functional teams.
• Compliance: Hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Client Integration: Experience coordinating and managing technical integrations with enterprise clients.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of API integration and data synchronization practices.
• Understanding of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog) and cybersecurity best practices.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, SOC 2 Implementation, ITIL).
