Full Job Description

Start Pay ~ $55,000 annually, with the final salary determined by geographic market rate for the selected candidate.

This role will work from home and can be located in any state in the United States where Rise Against Hunger currently operates.

About the Role

The Data Operations Manager is accountable for analyzing and maintaining data within the  organization’s Customer Relationship Management systems (CRMs). This position is responsible for identifying new ways to leverage data to facilitate business needs, ensuring data quality, and acting as an internal resource to support CRM usage.

This position acts as the primary steward of the organization’s data and works with various departments to ensure successful utilization of our data tools and environment. This role will work with the organization’s stakeholders and external partners to manage various projects having to do with enhancing CRM performance and utilization of data.

  • You take initiative to get things done, a self-starter with an Bachelor degree in technology, business, or related field or equivalent work experience. Five years related database experience in a fundraising environment accountable for data management in a large CRM system like Salesforce
  • You excel at multitasking, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously – either as a team or independently.
  • Experience in successful project management

What You Will Own

45% Data Management & Analytics

  • Interface with departments to understand data needs, challenges, and opportunities
  • Assist departments in forming actionable conclusions using organization data
  • Administer organization’s CRMs, including user setup/deactivation, user support, report/dashboard administration, license management, and other related duties
  • Continually evaluate CRM features and updates to identify ways to enhance performance and meet business needs
  • Create and maintain processes to regularly assess and improve data quality
  • Create, maintain, and communicate standards related to data input and other user-facing processes
  • Coordinate data system changes requiring support from outsourced partners

45% Project Support

  • Identify new data initiatives requiring project support
  • Assist with planning and execution of data oriented projects, coordinating with outsourced partners and resources as needed
  • Communicate project updates with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure implementation of changes and new solutions are tested and achieve desired outcomes

10% Communication and Resource Planning

  • Keep organization abreast of data system changes
  • Identify and implement training solutions to improve database utilization and performance
  • Identify resource needs and efficiencies to drive excellent business results and steward resources effectively
  • Manage internal documentation detailing the organization’s data environment and surrounding processes

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in technology, business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years related database experience in a fundraising environment accountable for data management in a large CRM system like Salesforce.
  • Ability to thrive working from home in a remote work environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in successful project management 
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Hubspot, and Google Apps
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  Computer savvy to be able to easily pick up additional software programs
  • Experience with database resource planning
