POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position:  Data Analytics Professional

Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of large, complex environments;
• Direct experience implementing military and/or industry business solutions and services;
• Expert ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with all levels of executives, staff and clients;
• Ability to work independently or with limited supervision;
• Possess critical thinking, problem solving, and initiative/proactive skills;
• Experienced data analytics professional
• 10 Years of Experience in data / data analytics

Activities:

• Identify and analyze data from a variety of information sources and assess all pertinent sources of information for applicable metrics.
• Design, build, and maintain queries
• Provide data analysis and gap and capability analysis on logistics data systems.
• Develop dashboards and reports and support development of data strategy and lines of effort
• Provide subject matter expertise on enhancing maintenance and supply matters.
• Perform technical analysis to develop recommendations and guidance documents
• Provide support and analysis on total life cycle management activities for Military Equipment, Secondary Items, Operating Material & Supplies (OM&S).

Experience:

• 10+ years USMC logistics experience in data/data analytics
• Mastery in DAX, R, Java, GAWK, Windows script writing and other programming language used to collect, organize, analyze, and share data to support business intelligence requirements utilizing Power BI to develop dashboards and reports

Location:

• Location:  Remote w/ occasional travel

Requirements

• Education:  Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in operations research and analysis or similar field from an accredited university/college
• Security Clearance: Secret
