Job Description:
The Data Analyst will produce and deliver data and solutions that drive our clients’ matching, targeting, and outreach efforts. The Data Analyst maintains and improves Statara's predictive modeling data sets, conducts ad-hoc public-facing analysis projects using the Statara Identity Insights file, participates in construction of predictive models and other client-facing analytics tools. The Data Analyst will work closely with each of the technical and client-facing teams at Statara and can expect significant training and support to learn internal procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use database software to query individual-level data to produce counts, lists, and other data points that support analysis/client deliverables.
- Collaborate across teams to build Statara’s modeling datasets, ensuring full coverage and timely completion.
- Parse, clean, and organize complex raw data into functional formats
- Attend, participate, and, where appropriate, lead meetings/conference calls.
- Manage time to meet internal and client-driven timelines.
Requirements
- An understanding of database management.
- Technical writing skills, and an ability to translate complex information to a non-technical audience.
- Prior data analysis, targeting, or statistics experience.
- Commitment to open, honest, and transparent communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- An inquisitive and curious personality, and eagerness to innovate.
- Team player who is also able to work independently under light supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous work building predictive models or developing custom analysis from large data sets.
- Experience with Alteryx software.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SQL or Snowflake
