Your Role
We are looking for a meticulous Contract Fax Filing & Data Accuracy Specialist to join our team on a short-term 1-2 month contract, focusing on our virtual fax system. This role supports the continuity of patient care by ensuring accurate documentation, efficient filing, and systematic tagging of quality care gaps. As part of our clinical support team, you will help uphold healthcare standards by keeping patient records current and compliant.
You will:
- Efficiently review, log, and file incoming faxes related to patient care, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
- Identify and accurately tag care gaps within documentation to improve patient tracking and enable timely follow-up.
You’d be a good fit if you have:
- Experience in data management, medical record filing, or a similar field in a healthcare setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
It’d be nice if you have:
- Experience with fax filing in a medical context.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards related to patient information.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and care gap processes.
- Medical Assistant background and/or medical records
Our office is in Watertown, Massachusetts, but we’ve developed a robust remote working structure to give us more geographical flexibility while hiring for many positions. This role can be done largely remotely, there are several times a year when staff come together onsite for planning and team building.
