Requirements
Content Marketing Manager
We’re looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Content Marketing Manager to take responsibility for our inbound marketing strategies including social advocacy, the company blog, and content creation for lead generation.
Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional with a writing background who’s also not afraid of audio/visual formats. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers. For this position, it’s also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends.
Ultimately, you should be able to expand our company’s digital footprint and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Provide audiences with excellent, well-researched, and impeccably written content that brings traffic to the website and builds on the company brand
- Craft content marketing strategies and set short-term goals
- Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets
- Curate content for marketing campaigns, newsletters, and other promotions
- Collaborate with design, social media, product marketing, and writing teams to produce high quality content
- Develop the editorial calendar and ensure deadlines are met
- Manage freelance writers to expand team capacity
- Deliver engaging content on a regular basis and inspire team members
- Promote content internally for sales, customer success, and general company awareness to encourage adoption
- Look for ways to build on existing content marketing processes such as expanding into new channels and formats as the market evolves
- Conduct content audits as needed
- Optimize content considering SEO, Google Analytics, and generative AI optimization
- Utilize and regularly report data to monitor and track effectiveness of content and connect it to business outcomes
- Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence including co-marketing and backlinking opportunities
- Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
Requirements and skills
- ~3-4 years proven work experience as a Content marketing manager
- Proficiency in Google Suite including Analytics, WordPress, and Semrush
- Understanding of web publishing requirements
- Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
- Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
- Project management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English or relevant field
- Comfortable being the “face” of the company in videos, on social media, and in webinars on occasion as needed
- Demonstrated passion for thought-provoking content that isn’t just the usual B2B marketing fare
