About the Role

As Content Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy to engage our target audience, build brand awareness, and drive conversions. Your work will shape tools and insights that directly impact public safety agencies and improve lives within the communities they serve.

HOW YOU WILL HAVE IMPACT

We're seeking a self-starting, mission-driven Content Marketing Associate to join us in building products that make a difference.  This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing, content creation and content marketing and experience executing end-to-end marketing campaigns to increase awareness, and drive pipeline and revenue growth. We're looking for candidates with a strong record of driving demand through a variety of strategies and tactics, including integrated campaigns, partnerships, content syndication, emails, webinars, and more.   In addition, as an early member of the ForceMetrics team, you'll have many opportunities to forge our best practices, technical decisions, and create areas of ownership for yourself. We are actively seeking applicants that are fully remote. 

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support in the development and implementation of a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with ForceMetrics business goals and objectives.
  • Create high-quality, compelling written content including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, website, infographics, and more, with a deep understanding of our customers and the outcomes they are looking to achieve
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with product launches, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search engines and user experience.
  • Report on the effectiveness of content marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Develop and oversee end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns specifically tailored to our community safety audience. Your expertise will drive these campaigns from initial concept to execution, ensuring they resonate with our target market.
  • Experiment with and manage a diverse range of demand generation efforts, including lead buys, sponsored newsletters, webinars, content syndication, and more. Your creative approach to distribution will increase our reach and drive more pipeline.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of marketing campaigns. Your analytical skills will translate data into actionable insights, driving continuous improvement and learning.
  • Engage with multiple partners on our marketing and revenue teams, including the events team, product marketing, public relations, email marketing, performance marketing, and content team. Your role is pivotal in aligning and coordinating these teams for integrated campaigns.
  • Utilize your creative abilities to craft compelling emails, landing pages, ad copy, and marketing content that speaks directly to our audience.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and revenue teams to target specific accounts, personas, and contacts, ensuring that our marketing efforts are finely tuned to our market's needs.
  • Must be a strong storyteller with deep writing experience
  • Strong understanding of Hubspot, digital marketing, and content distribution channels.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in content marketing, content creation, or a similar role

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in creating user stories, prioritizing features, and owning a product backlog
  • High degree of comfort with agile approach driven projects
  • Enjoy working in a lean, fast-paced team where you can take the initiative and generate results every day; experience in a start-up environment is a plus
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong execution ability (from idea to launch) with demonstrated leadership in a highly collaborative environment
  • Experience managing and improving product metrics, surveys, and data-driven insights
  • Passionate about helping make a difference in the lives of many
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and assist the team in multiple capacities
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder; must be able to pass an FBI background check
  • Willing to undergo background checks to work with the highly sensitive data entrusted with us to positively impact the world
