Full Job Description

Walnut Way Conservation Corp. is seeking a reliable and dedicated Company Driver to support our transportation needs as we work towards our mission of community enhancement. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of staff, materials, and resources to various locations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving record, and the ability to represent our organization positively while on the road. You will play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, materials, and equipment to designated locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any vehicle-related expenses.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform minor maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to uphold company safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with logistics and operations teams to coordinate transportation schedules.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
  • Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and represent Walnut Way Conservation Corp. positively in interactions with clients and community members.
  • Participate in training sessions and adhere to company policies regarding transportation and safety.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a professional setting.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Ability to navigate using GPS and other navigational tools.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to schedules.
  • Good communication skills and a courteous demeanor.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items as needed.
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
