Full Job Description
We are seeking a product professional to join a team of experts to help manage and drive Sinch’s A2P Commercial Messaging Products (SMS, MMS, RCS, WhatsApp) in the North American market. This is an exciting position as A2P messaging is a core product at Sinch, and this role is critical to maintaining and growing our strong customer base and product portfolio.
Your role is to drive A2P positioning within the sales organization and to ensure our messaging products meets our customer demands while balancing general ecosystem and compliance requirements. You will be known as THE product expert both internally at all levels of the organization, and externally with customers, carriers, and in the North American industry.
As our Commercial Product Manager, you will:
- Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Regularly meet with Sales Teams (and customers) to understand product opportunities and to solicit feedback on NA messaging products and services.
- Work with external partners, Carrier Relations, Product Operations and Compliance to understand Carrier/ecosystem requirements.
- Determine how carrier, customer, and compliance requirements will fit into the current product offering and be positioned to customers.
- Create and manage all Customer and Sales facing product communications.
- Manage sales enablement with PMM/GTM including go to market activity (sales documentation, sales training/product positioning, materials, news and blogs…)
- Work with Sales Org to drive project ROI for prioritization.
- Determine commercial product roadmap and timelines.
- Regularly interface with the Technical Product Manager to drive business requirements, prioritization and product delivery.
- Establish, track and manage towards Product KPIs.
- Determine Pricing Strategy by understanding the current market, market projections, COGS, and internal product.
- Determine and provide Product volume Forecasting when needed.
- Be the seen as the product expert at various external industry events by representing Sinch on speaking panels and engagement opportunities
This role reports to the VP of Commercial Messaging Product in the US offering a remote working opportunity.
Requirements
The successful candidate is a natural networker and comfortable working with decision makers on all levels, including both technical and operational. You have excellent writing, presentation and communication skills and take full ownership of the results. You have a growth outlook and are committed to achieving both short and long-term objectives. Your current effective commercial/GTM outlook, communication skills, and vision will boost Sinch’s sales and GP for our product. With robust product experience, creative product positioning, customer-first focus, and understanding the ins-and-outs of internal and external industry will contribute to the key to your success.
- 10+ years' experience in CPaaS, Operator or messaging companies in North America preferred.
- Understanding of product sales, operations, product management and development processes.
- Creativity in looking at complex systems processes and crafting them in a way that make sense for our customers.
- Proficient in understanding detailed technical topics and specialized expertise. Ability to recognize varying levels of knowledge on these topics and communicate with other experts as well as educate those with no knowledge and everything in between.
- Proactive and highly motivated with a natural problem-solving ability.
- Exceptional communication skills to manage collaboration between teams and departments.
- Adaptable and positive in ever-changing environments.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of customer-centric approaches
- Experience in creating specialized documentation and presenting to all levels of the organization including the executive level.
- Experience with balancing both customer, company and carrier requirements.
- Ability to travel within North America and occasionally international.
- Experience facilitating and negotiating legal agreements.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $131,523 - 172,623. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
