The Role: 

Infinite Reality is seeking a highly motivated,experienced, and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our IT, information security, and data center operations. The CIO will be instrumental in shaping our technological future, ensuring optimal security, efficiency, and innovation. The CIO will also be responsible for planning, building, and operating Infinite Reality data centers.

What You'll Do:

  • Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business goals.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of IT professionals, security experts, DevOps engineers, and data center specialists.
    • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in technology.
  • Information Technology:
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of all IT systems and infrastructure.
    • Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of IT operations.
    • Collaborate with executives to leverage technology for growth and efficiency.
    • Implement best practices for IT operations, including system administration, network management, and help desk support.
    • Monitor and optimize IT performance, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Information Security:
    • Establish and enforce robust information security policies.
    • Protect digital assets from cyber threats and ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Oversee risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate technology-related risks.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Data Centers:
    • Strategically design, build, and operate data centers worldwide.
    • Optimize data centers for performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
    • Manage relationships with partners and vendors involved in data center operations.
    • Align data center strategy with the goal of vertical integration to reduce SaaS product costs.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Extensive experience (15+years) in operational leadership roles within enterprise software company or SAAS
  • Proven experience as a CIO or in a similar senior IT leadership role in a global organization.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, information security, and data center management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with designing, building, and operating data centers is highly desirable.

The base pay range for this position is $325,000 - $425,000. The base salary range is applicable across the United States and the offered rate may vary based on factors such as experience, education, market conditions, and location.
