Chart Reviewer/Auditor
Seeking LPN or RN with wound care knowledge and experience, wound certification preferred.
Will be expected to:
- Learn company documentation requirements and format
- Learn relevant billing including E&M, CPT, and ICD-10 codes
- Review medical provider charts to determine accuracy and completeness of requirements
- Determine compliance with billing guidelines
- Advise providers on necessary changes to meet compliance requirements
- Tabulate results and submit to manager as completed
- May be assigned standing weekly/monthly audits for providers
- Special projects may include focused reviews regarding certain procedures, debridements, or billing codes
- Advise on addendums when needed
- Preparing charts for audit submission when requested
This position is work from home.
Schedule is flexible and at your convenience.
This is a 1099, Independent Contractor position.
.Part time or Full time, $30/hr
Requirements
- Active LPN or RN License
- Must be proficient in using Excel
- Must have a computer with access to internet and ability to utilize the Chrome browser
