About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled professional for an animation project. This short-term engagement requires expertise in both character design and 2D animation. The project aims to bring unique characters to life through creative design and fluid animation. While initially a single job, there's potential for future collaborations based on the project's success.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the client to understand and refine character concepts
- Create appealing and original character designs that align with the project's vision
- Develop character model sheets and turnarounds
- Produce 2D animations of the designed characters
- Provide expert input on character movement and expressions
Requirements
- Proven experience in character design and 2D animation
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of character designs and animation samples
- Proficiency in industry-standard software for 2D animation and character design (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Photoshop)
- Excellent drawing skills and understanding of anatomy, proportion, and movement
- Ability to adapt to different animation styles as needed
